INFLAÇÃO – Aumento de combustível pode provocar alta no preço de alimentos, alerta economista

Petrobrás não adota mais política de paridade com o barril de petróleo internacional, mas anunciou aumento no preço da gasolina e do diesel

A Petrobras reajustou os preços da gasolina e do diesel. Sempre que ocorre uma elevação no preço dos combustíveis, o impacto é sentido pela sociedade, como explica o economista Carlos Eduardo Oliveira Júnior, presidente do Sindicato dos Economistas de São Paulo. “A população de uma maneira geral já começa a sentir no bolso esse impacto da elevação do preço dos combustíveis. E isso acaba impactando no transporte individual, do seu veículo — e também no transporte de produtos e serviços. E aí acaba impactando na sociedade como um todo, que provavelmente a gente vai perceber nos próximos meses uma oscilação nos preços com relação aos produtos comercializados”, explica.

A mudança na política de preços da Petrobras, em não atribuir a variação ao dólar e ao mercado de commodities internacionais, permitiu uma recente redução dos preços dos combustíveis no Brasil. Contudo, a companhia sinalizou essa semana a necessidade de reajustes dentro dos parâmetros da estratégia comercial, em vista de aumentos do preço do petróleo.

O economista Luigi Mauri explica que essa nova política de preços traz previsibilidade ao consumidor, por não acompanhar a volatilidade do mercado internacional. Ele detalha, contudo, que o atual reajuste pode trazer aumento ao consumidor no médio prazo em alguns itens, mas não deve atingir o transporte público. 

“Como não se pratica mais uma paridade com o barril de petróleo internacional e com o dólar, tem essa previsibilidade para o consumidor. Claro, vai ter aumento no médio prazo, até o fim do ano o consumidor deve sentir aumento no preço de alimentos, por exemplo. O transporte público não deve se alterar em princípio, porque é uma categoria muito subsidiada, então mesmo tendo aumentos nos preços dos combustíveis não tem um aumento imediato de passagens”, explicou.

Qual foi o reajuste?
A gasolina A, que é produzida pelas refinarias e entregue às distribuidoras, teve o preço médio aumentado em R$ 0,41 por litro, e passou a ser vendida nas distribuidoras por R$ 2,93. O custo cresceu cerca de 16%. A essa gasolina se mistura obrigatoriamente o etanol anidro para compor a gasolina vendida  nas bombas: a proporção é 73% de gasolina A e 27% de etanol anidro. 

Já para o diesel, o Petrobras aumentou o preço médio de venda para as distribuidoras em R$ 0,78, chegando a R$ 3,80 por litro, um reajuste de 26%. Para ser vendido, o combustível é composto, de forma obrigatória, pela mistura de 88% de diesel A, produzido nas refinarias, e 12% de biodiesel.
