Com a esposa Isaurina e mais o casal de empresários Leor e Baby, degustando um Pizzato Chardonnay D.O.V.V., numa temperatura ambiente bem diferente da registrada nos últimos dias antes da viagem, o grupo traça planos e alinhava eventuais alternativas objetivando firmar o projeto de chapa consciente de que enfrentará uma tropa de choque num embate iminente.
Com a ofensiva de 29 de maio último, durante uma participação no Balanço 104 da Litoral Norte FM – 104,9 – Mamanguape PB – Clique Aquí – o Deputado e Pré- Candidato pela oposição fez severas críticas à gestão da prefeita Eunice Pessoa – PSB e às filhas: Promotora de Justiça Ismânia Pessoa, (membro do Gaeco) e Deputada Danielle do Vale – Republicanos, onde disse textualmente que o grupo representa uma Orcrim instalada na prefeitura de Mamanguape.
O agora deputado estadual Eduardo Brito, foi condenado a pena de seis anos de detenção nos autos do processo n⁰000748-38.2018.8.15.0231, resultado de desdobramento da Operação Pão e Circo. A investigação foi deflagrada pelo GAECO em conjunto com a CGU, MPF, polícia federal e tribunal de contas da União.
Reação:
No âmbito da esfera jurídica não há outro caminho a não ser representar o Deputado, e para isto uma conceituada banca de advogados teria sido contratada em João Pessoa.
A Deputada Daniele do Vale que apóia a candidatura do primo e atual vice-prefeito Médico Zenóbio Rodrigues – PSB acionou o Conselho de Ética da Assembléia Legislativa reinvindicando o mandato de Eduardo como punição, fato que até o momento não apresentou desfecho. Clique Aquí
O Vereador e ex- Secretário de Saúde na gestão Eunice I e atual Vereador Neto da Saúde – Cidadania, esteve na emissora no dia seguinte e fez uso do direito de resposta, defendeu a gestão e devolveu os impropérios. Outro capítolo interessante também é a discussão para definição do Vice de Zenóbio, exatamente por conta de um imbróglio entre o nome do empresário Miltinho Cartaxo e um nome que sairia da base da Prefeita na câmara de vereadores, onde existem ao menos três postulantes: Neto Belino, Carlito Filho e o Presidente Rany Veríssimo. Um quarto nome deve estar sendo sondado para uma situação sobressalente e fora dos domínios da situação.

A respeito da (AIJE) houve ainda a determinação de abertura do processo pela subcorregedora-geral do MPPB, Marilene de Lima Campos de Carvalho, que foi publicada no Diário Oficial Eletrônico do MPPB de 13 de outubro de 2016.
