A Câmara de Vereadores do município de Santa Rita, na região metropolitana da capital passa a ser investigada pelo Ministério Público mais uma vez. A promotora Anita Bethânia da Rocha, iniciou a apuração de denúncias sobre irregularidades no processo licitatório para aquisição de material de escritório para a instituição.
De acordo com Portaria publicada na última segunda-feira (3), a promotora determinou a realização de notificações, depoimentos e diligências para requisição de documentos e perícias para apurar os fatos.

“Determino a promoção de toda e qualquer diligência que a se mostrar necessária durante a tramitação, inclusive notificações, tomada de depoimentos e declarações, requisição de documentos outros, de perícias e informações, tudo com base nas prerrogativas ministeriais”, disse a Promotora.
“Considerando a narrativa apresentada até o presente, qual seja, supostas irregularidades no processo licitatório, modalidade até de registro de preço nº 0013/2021, pela Câmara Municipal de Santa Rita, na Paraíba e a Empresa Copilar Comércio e Serviços Eirelli, para aquisição de material de escritório, a qual pode ser indicativo da prática do ato de improbidade administrativa; Resolve, com fundamento na conjugação dos permissivos legais supracitados, converter a presente notícia de fato em Procedimento Preparatório de mesmo número, com o objetivo de melhor apurar os fatos, individualizar as irregularidades e condutas, por ventura detectadas, além de colher elementos de provas para embasar eventual Ação Civil Pública, que por sua vez, possui o desiderato de reparar danos, coibir as práticas despidas de legalidade e responsabilizar à quem lhes deu origem ou perpetuidade na forma da lei”, diz o trecho da Portaria do MPPB.
