Assumindo o compromisso com o Vale do Mamanguape onde foi bastante lembrado nas urnas nas últimas eleições, Cabo Gilberto reafirmou o compromisso de destinar recursos para solucionar definitivamente o problema da rotatória de Mamanguape setor causador de muitos acidentes com vítimas fatais na mais importante cidade cidadão.
Bastante aplaudido entre os profissionais da segurança no Vale, em Itapororoca outro compromisso parlamentar do Deputado é com os membros da Guarda Civil. Ele também citou os problemas de abastecimento de agua em vários municípios.

O Deputado Paraibano demonstrou firmeza com suas posições e atuação na Câmara Federal, especialmente em se tratando do PL das Fake News, cujo requerimento de urgência fora aprovado na noite da última terça-feira (25) para o projeto de lei das fake news (PL 2.630/20). O placar foi de 238 votos a favor e 192 contra. O projeto de lei prevê a criação da Lei Braisleira de Liberdade, Responsabilidade e Transparência na Internet. Dos 12 parlamentares paraibanos, a maioria votou a favor da proposta e dois estiveram ausentes.
Votaram a favor do projeto sete deputados paraibanos: Aguinaldo Ribeiro (Progressistas), Gervásio Maia (PSB), Hugo Motta (Republicanos), Luiz Couto (PT), Murilo Galdino (Republicanos), Romero Rodrigues (PSC) e Wilson Santiago (Republicanos). Já Mersinho Lucena (Progressistas) e Wellington Roberto (PL) estiveram ausentes na votação.
Os parlamentares Cabo Gilberto (PL) e Ruy Carneiro (PSC) disseram não ao requerimento de urgência apresentado pelo deputado Orlando Silva (PCdoB).
